This notice explains what information I collect, when I collect it and how I use it. During our activities, I will process personal data (which may be held on paper, electronically, or otherwise) about you, and I recognise the need to treat it in an appropriate and lawful manner. The purpose of this notice is to make you aware of how I will handle your information.
Love2Learn, 16 Carlton Road West, Westgate, Kent, CT8 8PL, takes the issue of security and data protection very seriously and strictly adheres to guidelines published in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, which is applicable from 25th May 2018, together with any domestic laws subsequently enacted.
The Data Protection Officer is Heather Lee. The data controller is responsible for any personal data that you provide to Love2Learn. Any questions relating to this notice and privacy practices should be sent to Heather Lee.
I collect information about you:
Unless otherwise agreed by you, I will only collect basic personal data about you, which does not include any special categories of personal information about you (often known as ‘sensitive personal data’). This information does, however, include the likes of your name, telephone number, address and email address.
I need to know basic personal data in order to provide you with the services you have engaged me to provide. If you do not provide this information, then I will be unable to provide the services you have requested. I will not collect any personal data from you that I do not need in order to provide the services I have agreed to provide you with.
All the personal data I hold about you will be processed by Heather Lee in the United Kingdom and no third parties will have access to your personal data unless there is a legal obligation for me to provide them with this. Please be aware, however, that your information may be stored on a cloud-based system whose servers are located within the European Union.
I am legally obliged to keep your personal data for a minimum of 7 years, after which time it will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the lawful purpose(s) for which it was obtained.
